Otherness

"Öt" comes from the Latin-Germanic root "alter", “andere” or “other”. It means "other" or, "otherness". In Allamej it many times refers to something or someone who is considered different or an outsider. In some cases a stranger who behaves different, speaks another language or has another culture. This concept of “other” is usually treated in Allamej as a detachment from reality or lack of cultural intelligence. Otherwise the concept of “other” is treated as something or someone that must be included.
