The radical comes from the French word mot which means "word". Mot derives from the word muttum of medieval Latin which had a connotation related to both the bellowing of cattle and a well-articulated human proposition, that is, a contradiction. It enters Allamej with both connotations together: the sound and the meaning. 
"Word" has been believed to be the origing of human shape!

O radical vem da palavra francesa mot, que significa "palavra". Mot deriva da palavra muttum do latim medieval, que tinha uma conotação relacionada ao berro do gado e a uma proposição humana bem articulada, isto é, uma contradição. Entrou no Allamej com ambas as conotações unidas: o som e o significado.

  Basic syllabic words in Allamej are morphemes, which means they carry fundamental meanings. These morphemes can be seen as the building blocks of the language's structure.
