The Allamej radical pix is inspired in several Indo-European languages such as Latin “pictura” and Slavic пиша /piʃa/, and points to the word of the ancestral language of several tongues originally spoken from Portugal in the West to India in the East. From Iceland in the North to Italy and Greece in the South. In the ancient Indo-European language the ancestral word was probably peyḱ.
In Allamej it means both "image" and "writing", as they have close meanings in the evolution of the representation of languages discussed by several scholars, including the philosopher Flusser.
The first forms of “pix” were probably the cave paintings discovered in France, an Indo-European language speaking country, although the cave drawings must have been made before the Indo-Europeans arrived there.

O radical pix em alamês é inspirado em várias línguas indo-europeias como no latim “pictura” e no eslavo пиша /piʃa/, e aponta para a palavra da língua ancestral de vários idiomas originalmente falados deste Portugal no Ocidente até a Índia no Oriente, desde a Islândia ao Norte até a Itália e Grécia ao Sul. Na antiga língua indo-européia a palavra provavelmente era peyḱ.
Em alamês significa tanto imagem quanto escrita, ambos tendo uma linha tênue na evolução da representação das línguas discutidas por vários estudiosos, entre os quais o filósofo Flusser.
As primeiras formas de “pix” provavelmente foram as pinturas rupestres (desenhos em cavernas) descobertas na França, país de língua indo-europeia, embora os desenhos nas cavernas devam ter sido feitos antes dos indo-europeus chegarem.
